پشاور ۔ پشاور کے اہم ترین سرکاری اور سرکاری دفاتر کو بھیجوائے جانے والے خطوط کے سکینگ مشینوں کے ذریعے چھان بین کی ہدایت جاری کی گئی ہے ۔ جی پی او پشاور ، جی پی او کوہاٹ، جی پی او ابیٹ آباد ، نوشہرہ اور صوبے بھر کے تمام جی پی او ز میں خطوط کی سکینگ کے حوالے سے خصوصی مشینوں کی تنصیب کردی گئی ہے ۔ گزشتہ ہفتے اسلام آباد اور کراچی میں امریکی قونصیلٹ خانے اور سفارتخانے کو مشکوک قسم کے لفافے موصول ہوئے تھے جس پر سفید پاوڈر پایا گیا تھا۔سفید پاوڈر کے بارے میں حکومت کودی جانے والی رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ یہ ایک اعلیٰ قسم کا کمیکل ہے جو کہ جلد ی بیماری اوردیگر خطرناک قسم کے امراض پھیلا نے کا موجب بن رہا ہے جس کے پیش نظر وزارت موصلات کی جانب سے ڈی جی ڈاکخانہ جات نے اس سلسلے میں خصوصی ہدایت جاری کی تھی جس میں چاروں صوبوں کے گورنر ز ، وزراء اعلیٰ ، صوبائی اور وفاقی وز راء ، اہم سرکاری شخصیات ، بیوروکریسی اور اہم دیگر مقامات پر بھیجوائے جانے والے خطوط کی سکینگ مشینوں کے ذریعے چھان بین کی ہدایت کی ہے اور تمام مشکوک خطوط کو ان اہم مقامات اور شخصیات کو نہ بھیجوانے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے ۔ سفید پاوڈر والے لفافوں کے واقعہ کے بعد داکخانے کے ملازمین بھی خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا ہے ۔

رمضان کی فضیلت و برکت

ماہ رمضان کی فضیلت کا اندازہ اس حدیث پاک سےبخوبی لگایا جاسکتا ہےجو اسےدوسرےمہینوں سےمنفرد اور ممتاز کرتا ہی: جب رمضان کی پہلی رات ہوتی ہےتو شیاطین اور سرکش جنات قید کردئیےجاتےہیں اور دوزخ کےسارےدروازےبند کردئیےجاتےہیں،پھر اس کا کوئی دروازہ کھلا نہیں رہتا اور جنت کےتمام دروازےکھول دئیےجاتےہیں پھر اس کا کوئی دروازہ بند نہیں رہتا اور اعلان کرنےوالا (فرشتہ) یہ اعلان کرتا ہےکہ، اےبھلائی (یعنی نیکی و ثواب) کےطلب گار ! (اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف) متوجہ ہو جا اور اےبرائی کا ارادہ رکھنےوالے! برائی سےباز آجا کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ لوگوں کو آگ سےآزاد کرتا ہے(یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ اس ماہ مبارک کےوسیلےمیں بہت لوگوں کو آگ سےآزاد کرتا ہےاس لیےہوسکتا ہےکہ تو بھی ان لوگوں میں شامل ہوجائی) اور یہ اعلان (رمضان کی) ہر رات میں ہوتا ہی۔(ترمذی و ابن ماجہ)
یہ حدیث مبارکہ رمضان کی برکتوں کا اندازہ لگانےکےلیےکافی ہےکہ جب رمضان آتا ہےاللہ تعالیٰ کےحکم سےشیاطین قید کردئیےجاتےہیں،جنت کےدروازےکھول دئیےجاتےہیں اور دوزخ کےدروازےبند کردئیےجاتےہیں، شیاطین جن کا کام انسان کو اچھےکاموں سےروکنا اور برےکاموں کےسبز باغ دکھانا ہی،اس ماہ میں ان ظالمانہ اور گندےکاموں سےروک دئیےجاتےہیں۔ چنانچہ اس بات کا سب سےبڑا ثبوت یہ ہےکہ اس ماہ رمضان میں اکثر گناہ گار لوگ گناہوں سےبچتےہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف متوجہ ہوتےہیں لیکن سوچنےکی بات یہ ہےکہ کیا ہر ایک شخص جو رمضان پالےاور کسی طرح بھی گزاردےکیا وہ اس کی برکتوں سےفیض یاب ہوجاتا ہی۔ یقیناََ ایسا نہیں ہی۔ برکتوں سےاپنی جھولیاں تو وہی لوگ بھرتےہیں جو اس ماہ مبارک کو سوچ سمجھ کر اس نیت سےگزارتےہیں کہ ان کا نفس پاک ہوجائےاور اس کی کجی ختم ہوجائے۔
لہذا ضروری ہےکہ ہم رمضان سےاستفادےکا پکا ارادہ کریں۔ رمضان سےپورا پورا فائدہ اٹھانےکےلیےیہ بھی ضروری ہےکہ ہم اپنی مصروفیات کو پیش نظر رکھتےہوئےاپنےلیےایک ایسا نظام اوقات مرتب کریں جس میں عبادت اور مطالعہ قرآن و حدیث کےلیےزیادہ سےزیادہ وقت نکالا جائی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ تمام مسلمانوں کو اس ماہ مبارک سےپوری طرح فائدہ اٹھانےکی توفیق عطا کرےکہ توفیق بھی تو وہی دیتا ہےمگر ان کو جو طلب کرتےہیں یہ نہیں کہ توفیق کےانتظار میں ہاتھ پیرجوڑ کربیٹھےرہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ تو اپنی محبوب قوم کی حالت بھی اس وقت تک نہیں بدلتا جب تک کہ وہ خود کوشش نہ کرے۔

رمضان کی آمد

نیکیوں کا موسم بہار ماہ صیام ایک بار پھر ہم گناہ گار اور خطاکار بندوں کےلیےرحمت و مغفرت اور دوزخ کی آگ سےنجات کا سامان لیےجلوہ گر ہی۔ اس ماہ مبارک میں جس کسی کو نیکی و عبادت کی توفیق حاصل ہوگئی وہ سال بھر اس توفیق سےبہرہ مند ہوتا رہتا ہےاور اگر خدانخواستہ کوئی مسلمان اس ماہ میں نیکی و عبادت کی توفیق سےمحروم رہ گیا تو پھر سال بھر اس کےحصےمیں محرومی ہی آتی ہےاور عبادتوں و نیکیوں سےاس کا دامن خالی رہتا ہےاس لیےخوش قسمت ہیں وہ مسلمان جنہیں یہ مہینہ میسر آئےاور اس مہینےکی سعادتیں و برکتیں اس کےحصےمیں آئیں،جن کو نمازوں کی ادائیگی کےساتھ روزہ رکھنی، تراویح و نوافل پڑھنی، صاحب نصاب ہونےپر زکوٰۃ ادا کرنی، صدقہ فطر دینےاور اس کےساتھ اس ماہ میں نازل ہونےوالی کتاب ہدایت قرآن کریم پڑھنےکی توفیق ہو۔
رمضان المبارک کا شایان شان استقبال کرنےکےلیےشعبان ہی سےذہن تیار کرلیجیی، اور رمضان المبارک کےلیےاپنےاوقات کار کو پہلےسےمرتب کرلیجیےجہاں تک ہوسکےاس ماہ میں ہر اس جائز کام سےبھی پرہیز کیجیےجس کو آپ چھوڑ سکتےہیں۔پورےاہتمام اور شوق کےساتھ رمضان المبارک کا چاند دیکھنےکی کوشش کیجیےاور چاند دیکھ کر یہ مسنون دعا پڑھیی۔
اَللّٰہُ اَکبَرُ اَللّٰھُمَّ اَھِلَّہ عَلَینَا بِالاِمنِِ وَ الاِیمَانِ وَ السَّلَامَ وَ الاِسلامِ وَ التَّوفِیقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرضٰی۔ رَبُّنَا وَ رَبُّکَ اللّٰہَُ۔ (بحوالہ ترمذی)
(( اللہ سب سےبڑا ہی،یا اللہ! اس چاند کو ہمارےلیےامن و ایمان، سلامتی اور اسلام کا چاند بنا کر طلوع فرما،اور ان کاموں کی توفیق کےساتھ جو تجھےمحبوب اور پسند ہیں،اےچاند! ہمارا رب اور تیرا رب اللہ ہی۔))
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سےروایت ہےکہ رسول ا للہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےارشاد فرمایا:”اسلام کی بنیاد پانچ چیزوں پر ہی:(١) گواہی دینا کہ اللہ کےسوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کےبندےاور رسول ہیں،(٢)نماز قائم کرنا، (٣)زکوۃ ادا کرنا، (٤)حج ادا کرنا اور(٥) رمضان کےروزےرکھنا۔“(بخاری ومسلم)
جس طرح دوسرےارکان اسلام اوردین کی عمارت کےقیام کا باعث ہیں اسی طرح روزہ بھی دین کی عمارت کا ایک عظیم الشان ستون ہی۔روزہ مسلمانوں میں صبر،ضبط،ایثار،بردباری،تحمل،مروت،سلوک،غم خواری،حوصلہ، ثابت قدمی اور احساس غربت جیسےفضائل پیدا کرتا ہی۔ آدمی کو مشکلات اور مصیبتوں پر قابو پانےکا عادی بناتا ہی،بھوک پیاس پر قابو پانےسےاس کو جفاکشی اور جہاد کی مشقت برداشت کرنےکا سبق سکھاتا ہی،شہوت کو دباکر روحانیت کو ابھارتا اور انسان کےاخلاق و کردار کو سنوارتا ہی۔
ایک موقعہ پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرمایا:اسلام کی بنیادیں تین ہیں جن پر اسلام کی عمارت تعمیر کی گئی ہےجو کسی ایک کو چھوڑ دیتا ہےوہ کافر ہےاور اس کا خون حلال ہی،اس بات کی شہادت کہ اللہ کےسوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں،فرض نماز اور رمضان کےروزی۔(رواہ ابویعلی)
رمضان المبارک میں عبادات سےخصوصی شغف پیدا کیجیےفرض نمازوں کےعلاوہ نوافل کا بھی خصوصی اہتمام کیجیےاور زیادہ سےزیادہ نیکی کمانےکےلیےکمر بستہ ہوجائیےیہ عظمت و برکت والا مہینہ ہےاللہ تعالیٰ کی خصوصی عنایت اور رحمت کا مہینہ ہی۔ شعبان کی آخری تاریخ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےرمضان کی برکتوں کا ذکر کرتےہوئےفرمایا: اےلوگو ! تم پر ایک عظمت اور برکت والا مہینہ سایہ فگن ہورہا ہی،اس مبارک مہینہ کی ایک رات (شب قدر) ہزار مہینوں سےبہتر ہی،اس مہینےکےروزےاللہ تعالیٰ نےفرض کیےہیں اور اس کی راتوں میں بارگاہ خداوندی میں کھڑا ہونی(یعنی نماز تراویح پڑھنی) کو نفل عبادت مقرر کیا ہے(جس کا بہت بڑا ثواب رکھا ہی) جو شخص اس مہینےمیں اللہ کی رضا اور اس کا قرب حاصل کرنےکےلیےکوئی غیر فرض عبادت (یعنی سنت یا نفل) ادا کرےگا تو اس کو دوسرےزمانےکےفرضوں کےبرابر اس کا ثواب ملےگا،اور اس مہینےمیں فرض ادا کرنےکا ثواب دوسرےزمانےکےستر (70)فرضوں کےبرابر ملےگا۔(بحوالہ بیہقی)
ایک اور موقعہ پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےارشاد فرمایا کہ رمضان المبارک میں چار چیزوں کی کثرت کیاکرو، دو باتیں ایسی ہیں کہ تم ان کےذریعہ اپنےرب کو راضی کرو گےاور دو چیزیں ایسی ہیں کہ تم ان سےبےنیاز نہیں ہوسکتےپہلی دو باتیں جن کےذریعہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ کو راضی کرو گےیہ ہیں لا الہ الا اللہ کی گواہی دینا اور استغفار کرنا اور وہ دو چیزیں جن سےتم بےنیاز نہیں وہ یہ ہیں کہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ سےجنت کا سوال کرو اور جہنم سےپناہ مانگو۔(بحوالہ ابن خزیمہ)

Say: It Is From Yourselves

All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings of Allaah, be upon the Messenger, his households and Companions.

Dear Muslims! I implore you and myself to fear Allaah. Let us hold tenaciously with His teachings and seek refuge with Him. For none answers the call of the distress but Him. Allaah says,

“And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allaah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help.”

(An-Nahl 16:53)

Fellow Muslims! A quick comparison between Muslims of the early generations and Muslims of today will show a wide difference.

Yes! Contemporary Muslims wear neater garments, eat better food and ride better means of transportation but as far as spiritual qualities are concerned, we are far weaker than the earlier generation.

The Muslim Ummah of the earlier generation is the leader not the led, the pacesetter not the follower and the great not the weak. It was the nation of justice and equality and it had the paraphernalia of a kingdom and authority. It was never a weakling and never did it descend so low as to muddle up matters and not to have a clear goal, as is the case with the Muslims of today. Tragedies of the Muslims of today have reached a proportion where people demand that a worthless man be called a scholar; where ordinary driver is regarded an engineer and a barber regarded a physician. It is on account of this confused situation that the hardships of this Ummah increase so much so that its honour is desecrated by the enemy and the hearts of its members are filled with fear of their opponents. The have even become so weak that they now call to surrender and to recognize the injustices that are being committed against them, and they have started regarding their own truth as falsehood and falsehood of their enemies as the truth.


Brethren in faith! All this is the result of the defect and indolence that have eaten deep into the fabric of this Ummah after the voices of the sincere warners were neglected. It is however astonishing that the Muslims failed to realize the very reason of this sorry situation of theirs and they ask themselves of that though Allaah calls our attention to it in His Glorious Book when He says,

“It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds).”

(Aal ‘Imraan 3:165)

It is well known that Allaah has made it upon Himself to give victory to His Messengers and friends. He says,

“Allaah has decreed: "Verily! It is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious." Verily, Allaah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.”

(Al-Mujaadilah 58:21)

He also says,

“And never will Allaah grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers.”

(An-Nisaa 4:141)

This promise cannot however materialize without conditions. Allaah has made the accomplishment of eemaan and all that it entails in every aspect of our life a precondition for materialization of this promise. That is the way of Allaah in His creation.

When the Muslims abandon the teachings of Islaam by neglecting whatever they like of these teaching and sidelining whatever they like, they are only inviting danger upon themselves, and woeful defeat will be the final consequence. Having brought the presence condition upon themselves, they should then face the consequences even though they are a Muslim nation. That does not make the way of Allaah change.

Fellow Muslims! We are living in these difficult days in the midst of heavy storms. It is therefore wise to prepare ourselves psychologically and physically to face these challenges and bravely and convincingly confront those who make unfounded allegations against Islaam and the Muslims. We should stop making useless comments that are devoid of any practical action to better our conditions. We should stop being – in the face of the enemy’s vicious allegations – like a mere feather that is blown by the wind to wherever it wants. Let us stop compromising on matters of our religion or parts of its values. Let us stop the enemies from casting doubts on the teachings of Islaam or attempting to convince us to review the contents of our educational system.

We should not however, do all this out of mere agitation so that we may not fall among those, whom Allaah describes as follows,

“And among mankind is he who worships Allaah as it were, upon the edge (i.e. in doubt): if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islaam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss.”

(Al-Hajj 22:11)

On account of this, we need to beware of two dangerously important things:

One: Condoning crazy campaigns being waged against our religion through casting doubt on some of it’s teachings or allowing non-Muslims to have a say in matters of our belief and in our educational systems. There is no doubt that any Muslim who assists the disbelievers in promoting their crooked views is a traitor of the highest order and the greatest criminal. Allaah describes such a person in the Qur’aan where He says,

“Verily, those who have turned back (have apostatized) as disbelievers after the guidance has been manifested to them - Satan has beautified for them (their false hopes), and (Allaah) prolonged their term (age). This is because they said to those who hate what Allaah has sent down: "We will obey you in part of the matter." But Allaah knows their secrets. Then how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs? That is because they followed that which angered Allaah, and hated that which pleased Him. So He made their deeds fruitless.”

(Muhammad 47:25-28)

Imaam Ahmad reported on the authority of Jaabir that ‘Umar bin Al-Khattaab brought a which he got from some members of the People of the Book to the Messenger of Allaah and read it to him. The Prophet became angry and said among other things: “Surely, I have brought this religion to you as pure as it is. By Him in Whose hand is my soul! Had (Prophet) Moosaa been alive, he would not have had any option than to follow me.”

Dear brethren! You should beware of inclining to other creeds or of running away from the teachings of Islaam no matter how terrible the situation is. The Messenger of Allaah was authentically reported to have said that one of the believers who were before us would be brought with hacksaws and would be cut into two. Yet that would not turn him away from his religion.

In the history of the Companions of the Trench,[1] Their leader said: ‘If anyone of them turns back from his religion let him go, but if he holds fast unto it cast him into the fire.’ Then a woman came holding an infant and she was hesitant to be cast to fire. Her infant child told her: ‘Be patient mother. For you are on the truth.’

Two: We should beware lest the rank of the Muslims be penetrated or shaken from the enemies within. The enemies within are those people who belong to our tribes and speak our language. Wise Muslims know them by their words and Allaah knows what they do in secret. These people wade into issues on which they have no knowledge. Whenever there are crises, they seize the opportunity to cause confusion within Islaamic societies by muddling up issues and calling unto abandonment of Islaamic values.

In powerful countries, their ilk is regarded as the fifth column, which is avoided by all means. These people are more dangerous than outside enemies. For they carry out what is called war by proxy, because they know our language and our reality more than the foreigners. As a result, their evil effects are most deadly.

It is therefore strange that these people should continue to call themselves Muslims, though in all their sayings and writings they cast doubt on the credibility of Islaam and its educational system, demean the new blessed resurgence among the Muslim youth and malign the righteous men. They are like those Allaah describes as,

“Those (hypocrites) who wait and watch about you; if you gain a victory from Allaah, they say: "Were we not with you?" but if the disbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain mastery over you and did we not protect you from the believers?”

(An-Nisaa 4:141)

Almighty Allaah has warned His Prophet against these people when He says,

“If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery), and those who spread false news among the people in Al-Madeenah stop not, We shall certainly let you overpower them: then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbors but a little while. Accursed, they shall be seized wherever found, and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. That was the Way of Allaah in the case of those who passed away of old: and you will not find any change in the Way of Allaah.”

(Al-Ahzaab 33:60-62)

Ibn Katheer said: “This is the way of Allaah in dealing with the hypocrites. Whenever they insist on their hypocrisy and disbelief, and they refuse to abandon their wrongful path, Allaah makes the believers overpower them.”

We are now telling these people that the law they are waging war against is the law of Allaah and the path they are condemning is the path of Allaah in which there is crookedness. We are also informing them that in spite of their vicious attacks against Islaam, there are some Muslims who are always ready to defend this religion and all its values and teachings come what may. They are those referred to by Allaah in the following verse:

“And when the believers saw the Confederates, they said: "This is what Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) had promised us; and Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) had spoken the truth. And it only added to their faith and to their submissiveness (to Allaah). Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allaah (i.e. they have gone out for Jihaad (holy fighting), and showed not their backs to the disbelievers); of them some have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred); and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed (i.e. they never proved treacherous to their covenant which they concluded with Allaah) in the least. That Allaah may reward the men of truth for their truth (i.e. for their patience at the accomplishment of that which they covenanted with Allaah), and punish the hypocrites if He will or accept their repentance by turning to them (in Mercy). Verily, Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

(Al-Ahzaab 33:22-24)

Fellow Muslims! In view of the changes that are occurring in our societies and the world around us, we are in dire need of holding fast unto the word that unites us together –Laa ilaaha illallaah Muhammad Rasoolullaah. Let us unite under the banner of this word and all the meanings it carries which include mutual love an affection, brotherhood, cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

Let us also realize that our backwardness was first and foremost caused by ourselves before there was any outside pressure. We must therefore exert all our efforts to propagate the Word of Allaah. We must make use of our culture to promote friendship and cooperation among us, support the Islaamic social values and clear the doubts that are raised about Islaam and its systems.

Our call to revive unity among Muslims should however be coupled by tangible efforts to eradicate slogans of the times of ignorance. We should present Islaam as the only source of unity among us not as the major source as it is done in many Muslim lands today.

It is through these efforts that we can be victorious over our enemies and our religion can prevail over all other systems and religions, for there is nothing after truth but error. Allaah says,

“Shall We treat those who believe and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidoon (those who associate partners in worship with Allaah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the pious, as the criminals? (This is) a Book (the Qur’aan) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember.”
